bogner.cc has been commissioned by the private Chinese building developer “Wide Horizon” to design the museological master plan for a “Contemporary Art Museum”. The job includes the accompaniment of planning and building processes, as well as organizational, personnel and budgetary planning, up to the opening. The museum project – for which it was possible to engage architect Krischanitz - consists of a new three-story building with exhibition area and a panorama lounge as well as a two-story underground structure with a 400 sqm large and 8 m high exhibition and event hall, a children’s area and a restaurant. The new “Contemporary Art Museum” is the first of its kind in Chengdu and presents international contemporary art in relation to innovative Chinese art developments.
