The town of Kitzbühel plans the building of a new Alfons Walde Museum with close spatial and institutional ties to the Stadtmuseum (public museum). This has been made possible by the readiness of Walde’s descendents to lend Kitzbühel a substantial part of their private collection on a long-term basis. In connection with the expansion and further development of the Stadtmuseum, the visitor entrance will be enhanced by the creation of a new foyer and the addition of an elevator. bogner.cc is responsible for designing a museological concept and for setting up museological guidelines in preparation for an architectural competition.
