In 2010, the city of Mannheim decided on a general restoration of the local Kunsthalle (art gallery) consisting of three sections (Billing building, Athene wing, Mitzlaff building). bogner.cc is commissioned to draw up a museological feasibility study. The aim of this study is to determine the future use of the Mitzlaff building from the eighties, that poses difficulties in terms of its room layout, logistics and air-conditioning and to elaborate specifications for a new building. Renovation of the Billing building, that opened in 1907, has already commenced.
